THE SAND PALACE

Somewhere in the Forbidden Desert lies a mysterious place about which few people can give reliable information. Most people who live nearby are aware of the legend of the Sand Palace, but accessing it requires perseverance. It is a strange shallow edifice which is lost in the vast sands of the desert, but from time to time it will reveal itself and become accessible. Entering is not without its risks since the whole thing is a deeply unstable structure prone to sandslides, both natural and Pok?mon-induced, but there are rumours of treasures abound down in the sandy depths.
Once the entrance is found (no small feat) trainers will have to descend a flight of surprisingly sturdy stairs to discover the cavernous palace. Once inside, there is a plethora of strange rooms, all filled with sand but obviously the remnants of a once-magnificent building with ornate decoration just visible through the piled debris. Rumour has it a young girl has made some sort of home down there, though logically it's impossible since there's no water or food available.
But if there is someone in there, then surely they'll know something about the legend?

3. Rumour suggests fossilised Pok?mon exist down here...
