PENUMBRA GYM

The gym in Penumbra Town is Astrum's own creation. It is a mysterious-looking building with whitewashed walls and a magnificent domed roof, set on the highest point of the town. The reason for all this is because the gym has been crafted as an observatory, housing Astrum's pride and joy - his powerful, valuable telescope. The telescope is on a floor above the battle arena, and a long ladder hangs down beside it. On the ground floor are the gym members - Astrum and his team of trainers. Most of them are interested in science and astronomy just like him and enjoy being in his celestial environment.[/table][/center][/spoiler]
Astrum himself awaits challengers at the back of the gym, where a large window and glass skylight allow him to observe the night sky. He rarely turns the lights on in the gym, even when it's dark outside, because he likes to have an unimpeded view of the heavens. Sometimes he even fights his gym battles in the dark, which can confound his challengers.
To get to the leader, challengers first have to tackle at least two trainers to prove themselves worthy of taking on Astrum. After this they will be allowed to proceed to the back of the observatory, whereupon they will battle the leader in an attempt to win the Night Badge and any other gifts Astrum chooses to grant. If the challenger loses, they may leave to heal and train, and can come back to rebattle Astrum at any point.
