Appearance
hawk is lanky. hawk has no physical muscle or strength to his name. he doesn't even have the thin sort of muscle that runners get. he is just weak without a scrap of meat on his bones. he looks taller than his 5'5" frame actually is because of slender lengthy legs and a pair of thick boots that give him a boost. he dresses pretty mutely. typically some form of casual clothing, tighter fitting pants and looser fitting tops. regardless of what he is wearing he will always have on his big pair of brown leather hiking boots and a brown hoodie, both showing signs of being worn often and well-loved. his eyes are bright, a sort of blue-lavendarish color and he has a head of auburn hair, redder at the top and a pure brown around his neck. he leaves it longer, hanging around his face and ears. he cuts it himself so it never looks real neat.
Personality
hawk is a little shady when you first meet him. but it is all unintentional. he isn't comfortable with others, he's very introverted that way, and so will keep his hands in his pockets and never make eye contact with anyone. he doesn't speak unless spoken too, and even then it is only to answer your questions. he won't ask any himself or offer to tell you anything more than what you want to know. dragging information out of him is like pulling teeth. but despite his social ineptitude he isn't a bad guy. his occupation would suggest otherwise. he views his thieving ways as a necessity to live. he takes what he needs and not what he wants. he views it, and himself, as being noble in that respect. about the only time he gets temperamental is when someone tries to tell him how to live his life or if someone tries to "save" him from himself. he doesn't like that. he'll get grumpy.
History
born into little lacewing town, young hawk courtney was immediately pulled into a friendship by a young girl around his age. her name was rose but she came up with the nickname pigeon for herself, liking hawk's name. hawk and pigeon were the perfect pair. if someone picked on hawk, pigeon put them in their place. and in return hawk didn't mind pigeon's boyish nature and he constantly showed his fondness for his hero. until the year they were both 14 years old. pigeon's parents decided to send her off to a boarding school, in hopes that she would become a bit more well-mannered. hawk was saddened, he lost contact with pigeon and ended up becoming easy prey for the other boys. so he ran away from home. it scared the hell out of him so he went back. eventually, at 16, his parents gifted him a houndour pup; saving up enough money to purchase her. hawk had himself a friend again, but found it hard to not think of pigeon. before he could become depressed again, he left home a second time. with houndour at his side he made it further, and didn't return home. he has spent two years living on his own anyway he can, and in that time also gained a sandile to add to his team.

Raff was making short work of this Route. Or at least that was his plan! He had heard tales in the city of water about the massive jungle that blocked his path. How it was impossible to pass through without a poke'mon who knew cut. It was fortunate then that he had his Weavile, who was proficient at cutting through most anything he wanted to. Tucker lead the way, slicing any plant matter that got in his way with ease. Raff was strolling along behind, always at the ready for something to come out of the jungle and attack them. Slash slash. Tucker's claws sang through the air and removed a huge branch that was in there way. He got down on all fours and scampered ahead a few more feet, his nose pointed up into the air- sniffing the humid jungle air. The summer time was vicious and made the environment almost unbearable for the ice type and his trainer. Raff stretched his arms out to either side and then cupped them around behind his head, lacing his fingers together. "Lunch time Tucker?" He said to Weavile. Tucker nodded and ran back to Raff's side and sat down beside his trainer on a large tree root. Raff pulled out some food for he and his friend to share.
