Appearance:
Alex is neither abnormally tall nor abnormally short. He stands at five foot nine, dwarfing Lina most of the time. He has all the “male” definitions that he should have at his age: broad shoulders, angled jaw, the need to shave on a regular basis. His aqua eyes are almost always shimmering, but they have been known to grow hard, especially when Lina is in danger. His hair is right around chin-length, though he pulls it all back into a stubby ponytail, leaving only a fringe which he gels to look spiky.
His need for exercise outshines that of Lina’s. Alex is always doing some sort of physical activity, whether it is jogging every morning or training on the speed bag in the afternoon. His body portrays all of the exercise he does. His legs are extremely strong from running, and he can easily run for long periods of time before growing weary. His arms and torso are mildly muscular (he of course thinks he needs to bulk up), and he could easily make the girls swoon if he walked around shirtless for an extended period of time.
Personality:
Athletic – One of Alex’s finer points is that he is very athletic. He likes to exercise and is usually awake before Lina, taking a morning jog. Even growing up, he would constantly be outside running around, usually being pursued closely by Lina. If he can’t move around, he gets very antsy. In addition, he eats very healthy. He tries to get Lina to follow his regimen, but it’s a losing battle.
Childish – While not technically spoiled, Alex doesn’t behave at all like a grown man should. He whines when Lina tells him to get to bed, he pokes her when she’s angry, and he sometimes makes light of situations that shouldn’t be taken light of. But at the same time, he knows when to put on his serious face and be, well, serious.
Friendly – It is very difficult for Alex to be rude or mean to people, unless they pose an immediate danger to Lina or himself. He likes talking to and learning about people, no matter who they are. He makes friends very easily and enjoys getting random calls from those friends. Girls sometimes mistake his eager questions as flirting (which he’s not very good at when he actually tries).
Curious – This is definitely the more dangerous of Alex’s traits. It gets him into trouble ninety-percent of the time. If there is a cave in the distance, he has to check it out. If there is a box with a million locks on it, he has to find out what’s inside, even if he gets caught in the process. He likes to stick his nose where it definitely doesn’t (and he knows it doesn’t) belong.
History:
Alex is the older of the two twins by mere minutes. Her umbilical cord had been wrapped around his neck so it was a miracle he lived at all. He never lets her live down the fact that he’s older just as she never lets him live down the fact that she nearly killed him when they were born. From day one, they were inseparable. If they were in separate cribs, they would bawl until someone was smart enough to put them together.
By the time the twins were five, they were getting into trouble on an almost daily basis. They would steal from the kitchen—which was strictly forbidden by the head chef—throw bouncy balls around any empty room in the house—the more breakable things inside, the better—disregard orders from the head nanny, scream at the top of their lungs when it was bedtime, and so on. The only time they ever truly behaved themselves was during bath-time and when they were asleep.
When the twins started schooling at six, their personalities began to differ quite extensively. While Lina could easily bury her nose in a book, Alex would always fall asleep two paragraphs in. He relied heavily on his sister when it came to school. At eleven, when most kids began their Pokémon journeys, Lina and Alex were kept in school, much to their dismay. Education, mother always said, plays a very important role in every person’s life. Lina would always argue with their parent’s decision on the matter, but Alex would simply take his frustration out on punching bags. He would half-listen when Lina came to complain to him; it was like listening to a broken record and it annoyed him most of the time.
Now, at seventeen, the twins have decided to drop out of school and begin their journey together. Their parents were a little miffed at first, but have come around and wish them well.

See Katalina Cheval. Also, I know that basically the entire history is copy/pasted directly from Lina's. But they're twins, so that's fine...right?
