Stretching her arms to the night sky, Spade gave a tired yawn. The climb up to the town had taken her from the morning of getting Umbra, her Houndour, to the beginning of evening. Of course, that included some stops, but Spade pushed herself quite a bit in order to get to Penumbra. She remembered the events that happened that day: meeting the Professor...and that annoying boy. She gave an indignant huff to herself as she remembered him, and hopefully as she continued on her journey, Spade's memory of that kid would disappear. Bringing out the Pokeball that held Umbra, she could see the miniature version of the Pok?mon inside. It seemed to be content with just staying in his Pokeball, but Spade could see Umbra observing the world around him even in his Pokeball. Upon meeting Spade's eyes, the Houndour stared for a moment, then turned his head. What a quiet Pok?mon; Spade liked that. Spade turned her attention to the rickety old house in front of her. She stood right in a clearing outside the house. It was late, and she was feeling tired, and earlier on Spade had almost convinced herself to sleep right at that clearing for the night until daytime to go explore that house. However, Spade couldn't help but think that during the night would be the best time to go Pok?mon catching here. She might even get in some training from Umbra. Fingering the ball in her hand for a minute, she pressed the button and a flash of light illuminated the small clearing for a second, then appeared Umbra. He gave a shake of his coat, then watched his trainer intently. Idly he wondered if there would be any time to sleep later on. His trainer looked as though she was ready to get started catching Pok?mon, or for battling. Spade motioned for Umbra to follow her, and he lumbered after his trainer. He thought about the Professor, giving him up to this new trainer, and he wondered if they would become close. Many thoughts went through his mind as his trainer led the way to the supposedly haunted house. It didn't look scary, it was just old and creaked in odd places. Stepping through the door, Spade entered a dark and dusty room, possibly an old living room, that was barely lit. Oh well, she would have to make do. During the night, maybe more Pok?mon would come out, or at least, Pok?mon that Spade liked. Searching through the gloom, Spade waited to see if she could pick out anything, Umbra waiting patiently by her side.
