Avila is simply a dragon tamer to be. She hopes to capture many dragon types and maybe one day breed with them in order to gain more of them, like her family had done. The hardest of part of dragon taming is that they evolve slowly. So much concentration and training is going to be needed for evolving them if she hopes to get them to the final form.

Preferred Pokémon

Avila enjoys the dragon type Pokémon. She is lucky to have the one that she gained from her hometown, and get a head start. With this she already has one Dratini and hopes to capture many more. However she knows before she can gain other dragon types she will attempt to capture Pokémon from all over, and create a secondary team-with a multi type group of Pokémon, before she starts looking for other dragons.

Appearance

Avila stands at 5" 5', evenly and weighs about one hundred and forty pounds. She has brown hair where several strands go out on her forehead. One points to the left, the other strand goes down to her nose, and the other strand goes to the right. Lastly she let her hair grow out, and it is down to almost her ankles. It is somewhat curly and several strands come out from the main hair onto the side. Also another striking feature about Avila, has to do with her eyes, her eyes are a bright blue coloring. And clothes wise, she is not very fashionable about it but is certainly wary about the weather. In winter time she wears long pants that go down to her ankles and a shirt along with a coat to help keep her warm. She also has a second coat that has feathers within them in order to help keep her warm. In the spring time she lets go of the long jean pants, the coats and the long shirts in order for shorts and a sun hat in order to keep her head out of the sun. Lastly she always has a shade of sunglasses in order to help block out of the sun out of her eyes when she does not want to use her hat.

Personality

Avila is a smart person and is not meant to be taken lightly, since she had started late as a Pokémon trainer, she has spent a good amount of her time trying to read and learn as much as she could about Pokémon. Such as weaknesses and strengths, and much more information on the Pokémon that were out in the Kanto region. Of course she would hope that this information would help her in the future on figuring out what it would be like in the Caligo Region. Avila would not describe herself as a book worm, but once she finds a topic that she is heavily interested in, there’s no hope of trying to pry her away from it.

On the other side, she is very friendly and isn’t afraid to make friends. She also has a bit of an adventurous side as well as the mentioning to the event in the Icy Cave. Though sometimes with this adventurous side of her can cause her to get into trouble. Although she is trying to do her best to pay attention to dangers that seem obvious and avoid it. Despite these bad sides of her, she seems to be talkative, friendly person, and heavily interested in Pokémon.

History

Avila has had quite a past so far, her family comes from a descending line of Dragon Tamers, as her grandfather was on her mom’s side who had first caught a Dratini after attempting many times in the Safari Region of Kanto. Eventually her mom, Khris was born and the age of ten, the family moved up to Blackthorn after hearing that there were many dragon trainers gathering there, and even a gym leader had settled there. The idea was simply perfect, dragon trainers and tamers coming together with dragon type Pokémon. However, for some reason Bernard Miamone could not train the Dratini after having a failing health. So he sent the Dratini through a group of traveling friends, one would hand over the dratini to the other in certain areas and then the Dratini eventually reached Khris’ house where the Dratini remained to this day as a member of the family and was treated very well. It eventually evolved into Dragonair, with much training from Khris and became a strong and powerful member of her team. It was at least ten years later Khris (Now at the age of 24) had interest in marrying her love of her life-John and the two were then newlyweds. It was then about a year later (age 25) Khris had Avila who had been born. From the day of her birth, Avila had been interested in dragon type Pokémon after meeting Dragonair for the first time. Unknown to Avila, Khris had bred with Dragonair and one of John’s own dragon Pokémon in an attempt to find a companion of her own for Avila.

Gaining a Dratini
Eventually the egg hatched when Avila was almost two years old and befriended the newborn Pokémon as a young Dratini. The two went just about everywhere together in their explorations; they were almost inseparable in fact. As the two grew up (Avila now age 13) she had traveled into the Icy cave, where she had been warned several times not to go near but ignored the idea anyways. She felt confident with Dratini’s abilities that she and the Dratini would not be harmed at all. However that prediction from the young teenager was outlived as they were starting to head back from the ice cave coming empty handed, for some unknown reason the ice on the entrance of the cave was starting to crack and turn into an avalanche, as they headed back into the cave to take shelter, they soon realized they were trapped. Avila’s mom had noticed that the two had disappeared for sometime after not coming home in time for dinner. With this, John and Khris and along with a group of dragon type Pokémon set out to head to find her. Eventually they did and managed to break through the ice and found Avila and the Dratini.

Missing a Father
After the incident of the icy cave, (Avila now 14) John was a bit worried on mentioning this to the other family members about leaving. Word had spread that there was a new region that was bound to have new Pokémon and perhaps new dragons that needed to be discovered. He talked to Khris about this who had at first a tough time on letting him go to the Caligo region, but finally they accepted it and both Avila and Khris let John head out to the Caligo Region. At least four years passed as Avila had wanted to go on her own after not hearing from her father since he disappeared, a mystery it was she didn’t want to see her mom worry so much out of the problem that was coming of this disappearance. Avila bid her good bye to her mother and took Dratini with her eager to train and become a new trainer like her parents.

“Come on Dratini, we’re almost there!” Avila called out trying to push on her dratini. She knew the young dragon Pokémon could not walk like its mighty evolved form like Dragonite and have powerful wings to fly so high and so fast. But she knew one day, Dratini would be that Dragonite just like her father had. She knew finding her father would be a difficult one, and as well she noticed that she would be following her footsteps. She had hoped to follow her parent’s footsteps in the Johto region, but it seemed unlikely now, as she would continue her dream soon in the Caligo region. She had not told her mom about this just yet that she wanted to go there after her father had left. And she was sure that her mom may say no, but she was willing to give it a try.

For now, she found herself heading towards the Ice Cave of the Johto Region. She was already supplied with everything from potions to an extra coat, and a pair of gloves to keep her hands warm. And some long pants. As she went into the cave Dratini was going close behind, however it seemed unsure of wanting to go in unlike Avila. The ice cave was dangerous to many and only strong trainers seemed to come out of it. On several occasions, trainers had gone into the ice cave and not return. It was a scary thought it seemed, even with Dratini’s moves there was a chance that an ice Pokémon would over power it. Goodness, it hoped that its moves like Thunder wave, and Dragon Dance would boost Dratini’s chances of winning.

Finally the Pokémon and her trainer reached the entrance of the ice cave, you could already start to see the ice forming on the outside, but it was too warm to reach any further. So the ground was moist and swamp like almost as Avila stepped through. Careful of the wet ground as she went, there was a chance she could slip and possibly fall and injure herself before she got into the cave. “Drahhh!” Dratini called out already too afraid to go in to the cave.

“Come on, just a few steps, Dratini. A few steps are all that it’ll take.” Avila continued to urge her dragon Pokémon on. But she seemed as stiff as a rock. “How about this? I’ll let you rest on my shoulders if you want, that way you wouldn’t slide all over the ice.” She asked Dratini as the Dratini still didn’t accept that thought as it was preparing herself to head out of the cave. “Wait a minute; I’ve got some Pokémon food with me that mom always makes. Do you want some?” Avila asked, knowing that no Pokémon could resist it.

“Drahh tinii!” Dratini exclaimed happily recognizing the food.

“That’s it, only a few more steps before we leave. I promise.” Avila said as she began to head into the ice cave. Though, for some reason, she felt a shiver go down her back, she wasn’t cold or anything just yet. Maybe she had made a mistake in heading into the cave today…?
