THE ROCK GYM

"Welcome to Kepa City's rock-hard gym". 

The gym in Kepa City is a building made of pretty, high-quality stone, though it’s also roughly designed and rather arbitrarily coordinated in colouring. Brown, grey, blue and red rocks are haphazardly placed to form the walls of the gym. Inside, a rough terrain has been made where trainers linger in small rocky caves and behind craggy corners. This stony maze is difficult to navigate for those who do not pay close attention to their surroundings The rock walls stretch all the way to the ceiling and prevent a trainers from using Flying Pokémon to pick the correct route while each cavernous pathway seems the same as the previous one.

Gym Leader Granite can be found right in the centre of the complex maze, completely at ease in the rocky cavern that forms his gym. He is very used to the environment and his Pokémon blend into the rocks perfectly. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city, the gym at least is relatively tranquil, if somewhat eerie.

To reach the leader, the challenger must first battle two trainers in the maze. Then, once they have successfully navigated their way to the centre, they can challenge Leader Granite. If they win, they will be granted the Granite Badge and any additional gifts the leader chooses to bestow. If they lose, they may leave to heal and train, then return to retry their challenge at any time.

Painter Irv
An amateur painter, Irv likes to paint pictures of dramatic battle scenes. Or at least that's what he claims they're of.
